Little Charlie Sketches

Here are some sketches of Charlie as a child! I've been thinking of an alternative story of Charlie growing up, etc. It's not a permanent thing, so I might trash it all together. Maybe. Though, I'm having fun drawing him and his relationship to his mother. :) The little girl is a childhood friend of his. There's a second part that I'll upload soon!

Ink and colored version of a recent piece I did. I love working with ink and brush, so this was fun. I haven't done any digital coloring in awhile, so I took a shot at that too. :)

Sketch-A-Day!

I'm starting a new thing for myself to get drawing again. I've been busy lately, but I have enough free time to draw. Only problem is, I don't draw! Laziness is what kills me. So, I decided to start a sketch a day thing to keep me going. It ranges from pencil sketches to colored, etc. This will make me more active and it's good practice! Let's get started!

Charlie! I haven't drawn him in awhile. Winter themed because the story takes place in winter.

Plus, it's hot over here.

Eddie sketches

Here are some sketches I did of one of my drifting characters, I guess. As I doodled him, I got to know him a little better. Eddie is part of a gang and is the gunman of the group. He always seems nervous like and jumpy. He also has the tendency to not smile very often.

I'm also trying to get a more "traditional" feel to my digital work, so I'm testing out different brushes and whatnot. Very fun process!

A sketch that I did Saturday. A cloud monster! I like clouds. Haha

Here's Zeke. He's mute, so I push his expressions and emotions more. The story goes from when he's younger to older.



This is an ostrich on a scooter. Logic, I see none.

Close up of that big one. I did this with ballpoint pen and watercolors. I was imagining myself drawing a cover. Don't know why. Plus, listening to the Godfather soundtrack gets you inspired. Haha. Anyways, yes, this is old.

Disney's Lorenzo

This looks so neat. I love the drybrush effect they used for this. Wish I could see the full version, but so far, no one has found one. Oh well. Enjoy this little trailer.
